Hiring method

Our interview process is rooted in Geoff Smart and Randy Street’s book Who: The A Method for Hiring, which outlines a systematic approach to hiring top talent. You can expect a structured and consistent interview process that relies on the quality of information you provide in each interview.

Don’t worry! We won’t ask you about what you would do in a hypothetical situation or to find an answer to a trick question. Our interviews are straightforward and gather real-life data points on experiences that you have had.

Be prepared to share examples of accomplishments and failures throughout the process. Vulnerability is very important to us!

Application review

Step 1

Our Recruiting Team will review your application within four days of applying.

Phone screen

Step 2

30-minute phone screen with a Recruiter to review your background.

Hiring manager interview

Step 3

30-45 minute Zoom interview with the Hiring Manager to dig deeper into your skill sets.

Project & project review (if applicable)

Step 4

About 10% of our jobs will have a take-home project to gauge your abilities. Projects can take 1-4 hours, depending on the role and seniority. The Project Review is a 1-hour Zoom session with the hiring manager and one other team member. You will present your project and share insights on your decision-making process, what you did well, and what you thought you could have done better.

Final interview

Step 5

The final interview is between 2 to 2.75 hours and comprises a Who interview and 1-2 Focus interviews. The Who interview is a 60-minute, chronological walk-through of your resume conducted by the hiring manager and one other team member. A Focus Interview is a 45-minute in-depth interview designed to assess specific competencies, skill sets, and character traits relevant to the job and is conducted by two team members.

Reference checks

Step 6

The final interview! We will contact 3-4 professional references to gather insights into your past performance, character, and qualifications.
